Arrangements, für die Tino Derado, Pianist und musikalischer Leiter der Band verantwortlich zeichnet. Die in Rostock lebende Sängerin sorgt regelmäßig für Furore in der Berliner Szene und erobert gerade die Jazzfestivals des Landes. Modern Jazz vom Feinsten mit Songs von Cole Porter bis Michel Legrand die überzeugend anders klingen und machen einfach Spaß machen.
This Afro-German singer, born in Berlin with French roots, captivates audiences with her passion and spirited interpretation of jazz. One almost feels transported back to the era of the great Sarah Vaughan or Carmen McRae, yet with a contemporary groove. The arrangements are the work of Tino Derado, the band’s pianist and musical director. The Rostock-based singer regularly causes a sensation on the Berlin scene and is currently taking the country’s jazz festivals by storm. Modern jazz at its finest, with songs ranging from Cole Porter to Michel Legrand that sound refreshingly different and are simply a joy to listen to.
