Südamerikanische Rhythmen treffen auf afrikanische Vibes: an diesem Abend im b-flat Jazz Club bleibt kein Auge trocken, wenn der mauritische Ausnahmepianist Samuel Appapoulay und das kolumbianische Schlagzeugtalent David Millán ihr musikalisches Feuerwerk zünden. Im Trio mit dem deutschen Bassroutinier Urs Johnen liefert phänomenale Rhythmusgruppe zugleich ein verlässliches Fundament für zwei Weltklassesolisten, nämlich den Saxophonisten Fox und den hochkarätigen Trompeter Greg Ambroise.
South American rhythms meet African vibes: on this evening at the b-flat Jazz Club, there won’t be a dry eye in the house when the exceptional Mauritian pianist Samuel Appapoulay and the talented Colombian drummer David Millán set off their musical fireworks. In a trio with the seasoned German bassist Urs Johnen, this phenomenal rhythm section provides a solid foundation for two world-class soloists: saxophonist Fox and the top-class trumpeter Greg Ambroise.
