Nita Aartsen ist zweifellos eine der versiertesten und unterhaltsamsten Jazzpianistinnen Indonesiens. Von der AMI zur besten Jazzkünstlerin gewählt, tritt Nita regelmäßig bei zahlreichen Jazzfestivals in Asien, Australien, den USA und Europa sowie in renommierten internationalen Jazzclubs auf, darunter das Java Jazz Intl Fest (Indonesien), das Singapore Intl Jazz Fest und das Miri Intl Jazzfest (Malaysia), Huahin Intl Fest (Thailand), das Bangkok Jazz Happens Fest (Thailand), das Strings of the World Fest (Mumbai, Indien), das Perth International Jazz Fest (Australien), das Copenhagen Jazz Fest (Dänemark), das Tarifa Fest (Spanien), La Higuera Jazz Fest (Spanien), den Ronny Scott Jazz Club (London), das Temecula Jazz Fest (LA, USA), das Ardèch Concert (Frankreich), den Cotton Jazz Club (Rom, Italien), die Domicil University (Dortmund, Deutschland) und viele weitere. Sie trat bereits mit international renommierten Musikern wie Richard Bona, Gregory Potter und Michael Paulo auf. Außerdem konzertiert sie weltweit mit vielen anderen gefeierten Jazzmusikern und Grammy-Preisträgern. In ihrer derzeitigen Rolle als Botschafterin der indonesischen Jazzkultur unterstützt sie zahlreiche junge Talente dabei, internationale Erfahrungen zu sammeln. Nita hat drei CDs und Aufnahmen mit verschiedenen Künstlern veröffentlicht und Arrangements für Orchester und Big Band geschaffen. Nita tourt regelmäßig um die Welt und setzt sich weiterhin mit ganzer Kraft dafür ein, ihre Musik weltweit zu verbreiten.
