Wir freuen uns, die bevorstehende Veröffentlichung von Katya Sourikovas neuem Jazztrio-Album After Bach auf Weave Records anzukündigen und möchten gerne ein besonderes Release-Konzert im b-flat am 26. April feiern können. After Bach ist ein farbiges Mosaik aus Licht und Schatten: zwei geheimnisvolle, glockenartige „Triangle“-Stücke; drei miteinander verbundene „After Bach“-Kompositionen, die auf einer einzigen sich entwickelnden Melodie basieren; sowie vier lyrische, an Hymnen erinnernde Werke mit starken, einprägsamen Themen. Entstanden am Ende der Pandemie und zu Beginn des Krieges, spiegelt das Album Katya’s emotionale Landschaft—ihr musikalischer Ruf in die Welt, zwischen Dunkelheit und Hoffnung.
We are delighted to announce the upcoming release of Katya Sourikova’s new jazz trio album *After Bach* on Weave Records, and we look forward to celebrating it with a special release concert at b-flat on 26 April. *After Bach* is a colourful mosaic of light and shadow: two mysterious, bell-like ‘Triangle’ pieces; three interconnected “After Bach” compositions based on a single evolving melody; and four lyrical, hymn-like works with strong, memorable themes. Created at the end of the pandemic and the start of the war, the album reflects Katya’s emotional landscape—her musical call to the world, between darkness and hope.
