MTJQ löst sich nicht völlig von den Wurzeln des Jazz, sondern verbindet bewusst traditionelle Einflüsse mit frischen, zeitgenössischen Ideen. Klare harmonische Strukturen treffen auf überraschend neue Melodien und bieten Raum für kreative Freiheit. MTJQ ist ein junges Ensemble, das die Tradition nicht als starres Erbe, sondern als Inspirationsquelle begreift – mit einem modernen Blick und einer stetigen musikalischen Neugier. Ihr Debütalbum Perfection erschien im Sommer 2022 bei Mons Records.
