Die <<Bewacher des Groove» haben sich zusammengetan, um das wichtigste Element der «Funk>> Music zu bewahren und zu pflegen: den G-R-O-O-V-E. Sie zollen dabei Tribut an die großen Meister wie Brass Construction, Bill Withers, Funkadelics, Earth, Wind and Fire, den Crusaders, James Brown und natürlich Tony Hurdle. Und sie verschmelzen den Stil der 70er Jahre mit dem blumigen Twist der 90er.Aus diesem Fundus kreierten die Guardians zusammen mit Tony Hurdle's Original-Kompositionen ihren ganz speziellen Sound, welcher sich mittlerweile von Berlin aus rasch über ganz Europa ausbreitet.
The Guardians of the Groove have come together to preserve and nurture the most important element of funk music: the G-R-O-O-V-E. In doing so, they pay tribute to the great masters such as Brass Construction, Bill Withers, Funkadelics, Earth, Wind and Fire, the Crusaders, James Brown and, of course, Tony Hurdle. They fuse the style of the 70s with the flowery twist of the 90s. From this pool of inspiration, the Guardians, together with Tony Hurdle's original compositions, have created their very own special sound, which is now rapidly spreading from Berlin across Europe.
