Catalina Sophie erhielt Jahr 2016 den Abschluss in Jazzgesang in Musikene, Konservatorium für Musik des Baskenlandes, in San Sebastián. Zuvor hatte sie ein Diplom in Modernem Gesang an der Escuela de Música Creativa Madrid sowie ein Diplom in Musical an der Escuela Scaena Madrid erworben.Seit 2011 leitet und arbeitet Catalina Sophie in verschiedenen Formationen und ist in den Jazzszenen Spaniens, Deutschlands und Argentiniens aktiv. Im November 2017 veröffentlichte sie ihr erstes zeitgenössisches Jazzalbum Blue Tree mit eigenen Kompositionen und Arrangements, das sie in Städten wie Madrid, San Sebastián und Berlin präsentiert.
Catalina Sophie graduated in jazz singing from Musikene, the Basque Country Conservatory of Music, in San Sebastián in 2016. Prior to this, she had obtained a diploma in modern singing from the Escuela de Música Creativa Madrid and a diploma in musical theatre from the Escuela Scaena Madrid. Since 2011, Catalina Sophie has been leading and working in various formations and is active in the jazz scenes of Spain, Germany and Argentina. In November 2017, she released her first contemporary jazz album, Blue Tree, featuring her own compositions and arrangements, which she has presented in cities such as Madrid, San Sebastián and Berlin.
