Seit nunmehr drei Jahren hat sich "My Spanish Heart" in Berlin als lebendige Konzertreihe etabliert, die Flamenco und Jazz auf einzigartige Weise miteinander verbindet. Was als kleine Idee seinen Anfang nahm, ist heute eine feste Größe in der Hauptstadt – mit einem klaren Konzept, das sowohl Kontinuität als auch spontane Vielfalt ermöglicht. Das Herzstück der Reihe bilden die Flamenco Jazz Masters – ein fester Kern von fünf herausragenden Musiker:innen, die für den unverkennbaren Sound von "My Spanish Heart" stehen. Bei jedem Konzert treten jedoch nicht alle fünf gemeinsam auf. Vielmehr wird die Besetzung jedes Abends neu zusammengestellt: Drei der fünf Kern-Musiker spielen an diesem Abend – mal in dieser, mal in jener Kombination, je nach musikalischer Ausrichtung und Stimmung.
For three years now, “My Spanish Heart” has established itself in Berlin as a vibrant concert series that uniquely blends flamenco and jazz. What began as a small idea is now a fixture in the capital – with a clear concept that allows for both continuity and spontaneous variety. At the heart of the series are the Flamenco Jazz Masters – a core group of five outstanding musicians who embody the unmistakable sound of “My Spanish Heart”. However, not all five perform together at every concert. Instead, the line-up is put together anew each evening: three of the five core musicians play that evening – sometimes in this combination, sometimes in that, depending on the musical direction and atmosphere.
