“Three and a Half” ist nicht nur Name, sondern auch Konzept dieser Formation, bestehend aus drei(einhalb) Musikern aus Three (and a half) Kontinenten, die sich in München gefunden haben. Der englisch-deutsche Saxophonist und Bassist Edi May, der kolumbianische Gitarrist Óscar Mosquera und der amerikanische Schlagzeuger Nathan Carruthers. Durch diese ungewöhnliche Besetzung und Mischung aus verschiedenen Ländern und Musikkulturen, hat „Three and a Half“ einen einzigartigen Stil erfunden, der Elemente aus Jazz und Rock mit Punk, Noise, Techno und freie Improvisation vereint. Mit unserer energiegeladenen Bühnenpräsenz und einem breiten Repertoire an eigenen Songs schaffen wir es stets, das Publikum mitzureißen und für eine unvergessliche Stimmung zu sorgen.

‘Three and a Half’ is not only the name, but also the concept of this formation, consisting of three (and a half) musicians from three (and a half) continents who came together in Munich. The English-German saxophonist and bassist Edi May, the Colombian guitarist Óscar Mosquera and the American drummer Nathan Carruthers. With this unusual line-up and mixture of different countries and musical cultures, ‘Three and a Half’ has invented a unique style that combines elements of jazz and rock with punk, noise, techno and free improvisation. With our energetic stage presence and a wide repertoire of original songs, we always manage to carry the audience away and create an unforgettable atmosphere.
